If you love all things floral, this workshop event was created for you!

Join us for a floral centerpiece arranging and watercolor painting class. Kayli of Solflower NWA will give you a brief tour of the farm and then jump into teaching you floral design basics and tips to create a table centerpiece with flowers straight from the field. My hope is that you will walk away feeling more connected to the flowers that perhaps grace your table from time to time, and that you will be able to have confidence taking flowers (from maybe even your own backyard) and using simple design principles to create something that you are proud of-while having fun doing it. All materials to design with will be provided including vessels designed and created by Rainy Hopwood, owner of Ray Hopwood and 5th St. Studio. 

*vessels will be similar size as pictured but not the same shape or colors. Pictures are from our last workshop where the beautiful ceramic vessels were created by Erin Richardson, owner of Byrd in Hand. 

Following your floral arrangement session with Kayli, is our watercolor workshop with Tram Colwin. In this 2 hour session, Tram will guide you through watercolor fundamentals as well as a variety of brush strokes, mixing, and layering techniques to create botanical art inspired by the flowers in your arrangement! All materials will be provided, along with extra supplies to take home! 

*Experience with watercolor is helpful, but not necessary for this workshop.

This is an outdoor event. Seats are limited.

We will have food and beverages available during the transition between flower arranging and painting. Registration closes August 18th. You may cancel for full refund any time prior to the registration deadline.
